Oregon Fall Poultry Swap - October 22 - Corvallis @ the Fairgrounds!!!

Just a quick FYI for anyone going to the Stevenson show....today is the last day to get the group rate discount at the Best Western in Cascade Locks!! The pre-reserved block of rooms the PNPA held are all gone, but you can still get the show rate. You have to call the hotel directly, it's 541-374-8777 and tell them you are with the PNPA.

A much less expensive option is the Rodeway Inn in Stevenson..nothing fancy but good enough I've stayed there more than once and they have free muffins and fruit in the morning.

Is there anyone coming to the swap that has an interest in peacocks? I may be getting one, but I want an easy out if I decide to change my mind in about a month

Wait... a MONTH? That's IT??

So sorry, to space this out... she usually uses splenda but I don't expect you to run out and buy that just for a batch of jam...so lets go with the low sugar. Thanks.
Julie

Actually my sister bought me a whole box of Splenda packets, which I don't use, so it's a good chance to use them... I'll see how much I have... generally with the no-sugar pectin, I can use only a very little bit. And I'm sure someone else might want that kind of jam.

Here's something new I'll be bringing to the swap! They're almost done - painted on one side, the tall ones are about 8" tall. I'm gonna ask $6 for one - what do you think?

Lol it was hard enough just to get the photos. They are at that stage when they have no desire to pose...they just want to get back in their cage!
