I am interested in your olive eggers if either one or both turn out to be pullets by the swap. Can you PM me with a price you would want, as I did not see one attached to their photo.

Very nice looking birds by the way. I really love your polish....but have enough of those myself already.

I would love to add a few hens to my flock that lay olive eggs though. I guess I can add that to my want list if maybe anyone else has any olive egger pullets that are younger than 6 months or so.... I love the idea of getting new birds from local people rather than hunting down breeders or using hatcheries. We had already planned to increase our flock this year, especially laying hens, when I stumbled across this swap. Perfect kharma.

Can't wait.

Your Wellie laid a SUPER dark and speckledy egg today! Usually it's either dark OR speckled, but today it was both!! Get an Ameraucana roo and you can make your OWN olive eggers!! (oh, did I mention I have a lavender Ameraucana roo for sale?) LOL

Wow, so much new stuff here!

I'm keeping a close eye on the Tolbunt(s?) I heard about. . . . . . .

Oh and AyeUpChuck - Any chance you've got more than one Trifele start? Do you still want the Polish chicks?

Cheers Laura. I totally forgot that I hadn't put the succulents on. Do you just want a mixed bunch?

Yes, please

I want to replant my big antique wash tub full of them. I lost all mine last year.

lol You have a point there...but I am not planning to breed just yet. Haven't decided what type of roos I would want around. Maybe some d'uccle if the chicks we got from you grow up to be boys? Hmmm.

Can't wait to get the Welsummer hen from you! I'm very excited to add the egg variety to my cartons. Right now I have regular brown egg layers and a couple of white layers. I have people who buy eggs from me, and they always get very excited by any color variations. I have a waiting list of people wanting eggs longer than my current hens can keep up with, which is why I am looking to add a variety of new hens to my flock this year. Of course the d'uccle chicks were just for myself, as I just love the breed. Those little guys will just be my pets, unlike the other girls who have to work to earn their keep.

The chicks are all doing really well by the way. They are starting to get really nice feathers. One of the little mille fleurs is growing in HUGE foot feathers! Easily twice as long as the rest of the chicks.

I will post my update a little later tonight. Lol I have completely lost track of things today on here - whew! Need to sit down and sort it all out. 4 cheesecakes made so far today....3 more tonight. You'll be able to find me in the kitchen, between the piles of cream cheese boxes, drinking wine straight out of the bottle
