I need a saddle with wings.. now there's an odd mental image for a horse person

who now has chickens.. A Brabanter hen needs some day and evening wear with wings. How do you measure a hen for sizing? I have other breeds too that I'd like a saddle for but they are LF Cochin. If I get the sizing down I need to place an order for next weekend if I can.

Congrats to Cloverleaf!!! I did not know she won, but it was so nice to meet her! You should have seen this amazing egg she had at her table! It was truly turquoise green!!! I did see Tallyho's son almost win for his cochin, the judge had a very hard time deciding, but finally went with the cochin next door because she was slightly larger...blah!!! I agree next year we need a table there!!

IMO Next Saturday can't some soon enough!!! Well except that I still need to make the body wash...LOL! I am dreaming of cheesecakes and can't wait to get more fresh honey, and yummy smelling soap!!! My son is almost as excited as I am! I plan to bring extra money and lots of ones so I can go "shopping" at everyone's tables! I let a few vendors that had to do with chickens, know about the show today also, and I think at least one is coming. I need to get everything organized and ready and hopefully will have some more chicks on Wednesday or Thursday that may come with me! I am soo excited!

Did you get the name of the vendor with the pottery? I never made it over there.

I think I'm going to have to cut off orders by tomorrow so I can get everything made. You are still welcome to order some, but they would be shipped after the swap (shipping is really cheap for them).

) so asked my DH if I should run down to get chicks for my nephew's birthday (on Easter), he's like, uh hun, don't ya think there will be some chicks at the swap?? I'm like, what if they are all gone, and he's like "take a chance honey, odds are good".

I think I need more sleep and just bring more cages. He was also worried when I said I'm going to put every crate we have in the car (we have a LOT)

I then said, you know because if I got a few they'd all have to be separated - not sure he believed that one, he's on to me.
