I can't believe there is already a thread for the spring

I like the ziptie idea, it is a little confusing when you can't tell which birds are reserved.

Haven't seen him at one yet....

Dave Holderread is very big on biosecurity (and I sure don't blame him), so doubt he would do any swapping at all. He is a VERY nice man and wonderful to talk to if you ever get the chance.

What about Salem or Portland?
I vote for Salem.
Wasn't there talk on doing it down South next time? Roseburg would be awesome!

I like Salem! Portland sounds a bit tricker unless we can have it at Clackamas County fair grounds or well known place and it may bring in more city folks... which could be a good thing, or a tricky thing if there is enough attention to bring in event rules and such.

It's going to be back in this area - Salem/Albany/Corvallis - next Fall. We are moving it up and down the valley each time. We had promised all the people up north that the next one would be up there so I think we really need to stick with the Portland/Canby area. I think we would only do Roseburg if there was a great interest expressed for that far down. I know I talked to someone at the swap about starting an interest thread to see if there was any interest in having maybe a separate one in Roseburg or even Medford. The same for the Bend area. I realize that each place will lose some of the people who can attend, but we felt this was the most fair and the easiest way to cover this side of the Cascades. On the flip side, each area will bring in new people.
