Teaching is taking up much more time than I thought it would! Rather... the grading of 90 exams weekly takes way long, lecture is easy. I'll have to change my want and haves for now...

Other: Morning glory-turns out my blue with yellow throat of last year were not as labeled! They really are darker blue with white throats.

12 - Delaware x White Rhode Island - 2 pullets at 13 weeks and 10 straight run at 7 weeks - spectacular layers - hatchery secret for making Red Sexlinks
3 - 7 weeks Blue Egg Easter Eggers - straight run, can't figure out a way to sex this breed at a reasonable age
2 - 7 week old Blue English Marans culls - pretty birds but don't make my cut - probably pullets
1 - 7 week old Welsummer pullet cull - too small and dark for my liking
1 - nearly 2 year old Blue Wheaten Ameraucana rooster - SQ until he got pecked in the eye, very gentle

More older Marans and Welsummer culls to come as I get them sorted.

Also commercial brooders are available.

I am planning a spring order of BLRW chicks from Paul's in the spring and would be happy to add anyone elses order on to mine to split shipping costs. Minimum order is 12 chicks, I haven't decided yet how many I'm getting but we can work out details if anyone is interested. Depending on quantities I should be able to hold onto them until the spring swap unless an earlier pickup is arranged!

Haves - I will hopefully have a bunch of nice silkies available, maybe some polish and various cochins. Is anyone a fan of NN/turkens? I might be hatching some bantams and standards and am just wondering if there will be some other people out there that might like some

Zoomummzy - I also ordered some of those crele polish eggs, I really hope mine hatch, but if not, maybe I can get some of yours. I'll probably also need to get a cheesecake again, they were delicious, I'm just not sure what kind yet.
