I think I'll set some LF Cochin and bantam Mille Fleur Cochin eggs this weekend - that way they'll be about a month old when I bring them for the swap......
 
Just an FYI: I'm putting my available chicks on Craigslist today so if anyone on the thread is interested in any of them at all (Cloverleaf and playswithfowl,yours are on hold), I need to know today if possible

I have 30 more chicks (mostly Seramas) possibly hatching this weekend and Monday so I really need to start clearing out the brooders if I can or at least making sure what I have already will be going!

I have a line on an incubator. How soon before a swap would I need to order hatchin' eggs if I get it? And if so, anyone bringing or consider bringing marans eggs or possibly some funky silkie eggs? (not that I am in "need" just checking out my options before I spring it on the spousal unit) Or do sometimes people actually bring eggs without an order. Thanks all.

I will probably bring some mutt eggs (silkie/cochin/etc) if I get any right before the swap but like Cloverleaf said, I haven't seen many. I think the one last Spring in Albany there was a table set up with quite a few but I can't remember who it was now.
