Anyway no need for a sad story. I'm just trying to find her some layers as it's an easy source of food for her hungry mouths. She asked today if I could get her an inexpensive pair. I told her that I'd pay for them as a gift and well she got mad. I'll see if $40 is in her range. Not to downplay quality etc. she's just on a tight budget.

If anyone else has a layer or two that they don't want a ton for let me know.
