Oregon Spring Poultry Swap April 23, 2011 in Canby!!!

Ok Zoomummzy, I'm not saying I will , I'm not saying I won't buuut

do you think a serama rooster would be able to tolerate living with a house chicken (quail d'anver) that has periodic seizures. I feel sorry for her all alone and she loves to be petted but also afraid it would be too stressful for a companion (though her siblings seemed to ignore it, hmmm). What do you think?
Hoping I remember all and packing the care with EMPTY crates tonight, some warming disks for chicks, and I'll admit - going to a store to pick up salad as not time after work to cook tonight. See y'all tomorrow.

Just thought I'd add a last minute chick out there. Three weeks ago I picked up 6 d'uccle chicks from Cloverleaf. One of them is now definately a little rooster (he has a very large, very pink comb). I try to keep my number of roos down right now, so if anyone is interested in a little mille fleur d'uccle roo he is available. Otherwise he will stay with me for now. They are super healthy and energetic and feathering out nicely (Thanks again Cloverleaf! We are really enjoying them!) If no one speaks up for him I won't bring him as he would rather not endure the car ride.

Here's a phot of him. A little hard to get him to stand still....

Okay, one more thing.... I have been looking all over for some hand warmers to put with my new chickies for the long car ride home, but have had no luck in our small coastal town.

Does anyone have 4 or 5 extra ones they could sell me at the swap? I would sooooo appreciate it, and so would my new chicks!

Thanks.

I'll be attending and am looking for the following:

1. Silver Spangled Appenzeller Spitzhauben - Rooster
Wouldn't mind getting another pullet if you have one.

2. Mottled Java - Rooster

3. Blue Swedish Duck - 2 if available
4. Blue Swedish Drake (Crested a PLUS!!)

5. Narragansett Turkey Poults (Hatchery OK)

If you have any of the above NON-Hatchery Stock , please message me with the price.
Thank you.

I was hoping to get 3 of those from you. I think I would love both yellow and the frizzled black and white! Thanks. Can't wait!

I also wanted to post that my husband and I will be arriving in a bright yellow VW Beetle (makes it easy for you all to spot us!

), and since it is a 2 hour drive from our house we may not be there until 11am to 11:30 after doing all of our morning chores. But we will be there! So excited to meet all of you, and to meet all of our new feathered family members!

Oh come on.....make it a 4 pack!

I am bringing a battery pack and warming pad to keep the little ones toasty and comfortable, but I could pick up some hand warmers if needed. Just let me know...

Hey guys. On a different note..... I picked up 6 d'uccle chicks from Cloverfleaf a few weeks ago. They are starting to feather out pretty good and develop some combs now, so I posted a thread in the "What Gender" section here https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=490002. Hope the link works! I was hoping some of you could check out the pics I posted there and let me know what you think these little guys are! Thanks in advance.

My son is very excited that one is frizzled! He has wanted a frizzled bird, and we don't have one yet. You made him smile.
