Oregon Summer Poultry Swap, Redmond, June 18th

OK, somebody else besides me has to post to keep this thread from disappearing off the back page.

I've told a couple of people that I know about the Central Oregon Swap, and they are interested in attending.

Does anyone besides me have Blue American geese? I could sure use a female Blue American. I've got a lovely Saddleback Pomeranian goose to trade. She's one year old, very calm natured, a good layer who takes good care of her nest. She's quiet, rarely makes a sound.

I'm going to post this in the Fall swap, too, in case someone on the other side of teh mountains is interested but not following this thread.

However I am waiting to hear back, hopefully tomorrow, on which park we'll be at! It sounds like we're having this in Redmond, they're just looking for a perfect location for us! Cross you fingers!

Hey everyone...this Saturday, May 7, is the Second Annual Bend Chicken Coop Tour. It is a wonderful event that I helped organize along with two other "Lady Co-Chicken Lovers" here in town...it is a fundraiser for three non-profit organizations in town. This year there are 35 coop stops. Booklets are available for $10 at a variety of locations in town...the booklets have the map of coops and directions to each one and they are divides up by region in the general Bend area. There are restaurants participating as well as a guided bike tour and bus tour as well.....and this Friday is Frist Friday in Bend...a very fun open house/gallery hop evening held on the first Friday of every month. Let me know if you have any questions about the coop tour. I will make sure I tell everyone I know who stops by my coop that the poultry swap is going on this summer!

Here is the link to the coop tour if you are interested...we also have Facebook page!

Waiting desperately to hear back... We're either Centennial Park or one other park in Redmond - the one over by the airport and I can't remember the name right now to save my life. June 18th is our day.
