what kind/purpose ducks are you thinking of getting? I am setting Aust. Spotted (bantams) and Ancona (light, sweetest of sweet) or if you want to incubate a few let me know.

Welcom to all the newbies.
My automatic subscription notices stopped for some reason. So busy I didnt mess with it.
Update on the broody! She is still on the eggs. Unfortunatly she does not like any new arrangements I come up with to help her be apart from the other 10 hens. Scuffles break out and eggs get broke. Down to 4 eggs. Quite the learning experience. Im not sure what im going to do when the chicks hatch. Any suggestions?
Also to add to the mix, 2 of my Black copper marans are roos. Thats not so bad. But im really attached to the one. He fallows me around like a puppy.

ok back again..
looking for an easter egger hen we miss out greenish blue eggy weggs terribly
kinda not fond of RIR.. the one we have stayed broody for 35 days.. good grief.. it growled and huffed the whole time what a menace.. our wyandottes are doing so well ~thank you Moodlymoo
would take a mottled houdan banty if its avalable

but here is the deal
i would prefer that the birds be NPIP tested, Or deemed good health by a vet or a reputable vet tech )
130.00 for 2 chickens to see a vet was too much
if the bird is ill it goes back to you...nothing personal just too much sick chicken drama this year..I will pick up the bird and pay a fair price..
you r hen would be free ranged 2 hours a day and only be around 4 other hens be fed layena pellets, get fresh water daily, and the occ bag of happy hen treats..may be a possible 4h bird for one of dd's friends..
