Hi from Hillsboro OR! New here to BYC. New mom to 4 chicks just 2 weeks old.
All pullets -
one Blue Orpington named Bluebell
one Black Australorp named Poppy
one Silver Laced Wyandotte named Sylvia
and one Barred Plymouth Rock named Chocobo.

Having a little trouble with Sylvia. I think she might have
Coccidiosis.
I went to the feed store and got the Corid 9.6% liquid solution as recommended here on BYC. Have her isolated from the others and making sure she keeps drinking.Hoping she makes it through the night. My kids are already way attached to these little peeps!

Welcome, sorry I missed seeing this post initially. .....how did Sylvia end up doing?

I live out side Eugene Oregon-
I have 11 chickens
A Easter Egger (Olive-her birthday is tomorrow. 2 years old)
A Olive Egger (Cora)
2 Golden Laced Wyandotte (Laffy and Taffy)
A Speckled Sussex (Sweetie)
A Delaware (Ellie)
A Black Copper Maran (Belle)
A white crested blue polish (Fro)
A Naked Neck (Hei Hei)
A Lavender Orpington (Maui)
A Buff Orpington (Big Bertha)
Love them all
Welcome.....what a lovely mix you have in your flock, great names!

Hi, "neighbor", we're just down the road in St Helens, that's a whole lot of silkies

Not sure how many of you are familiar with fellow Oregon BYCer Rachel @donrae .....but there has been a very serious turn of events in her life and she is currently home and in the care of hospice. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts.

Hello all, I'm raising my first flock...looks like I have a rooster. He's 6 weeks old and VERY sweet. However, I'm in downtown Hood River, and I'm sure my neighbors would not approve of me keeping him. Would any of my Oregon neighbors like him? I'm really not interested in having him for dinner. He's a little black/white Bantam with heavily feathered legs. (Either Booted Bantam or Cochin)

Hello everybody, I'm from the southern Coast. :) Currently I have 9 chicks, but I fully ibtend to be getting more soon.
Welcome!

Hi there, I'm in Tenmile.
Always room for one more on the roost!

I hope you're able to find a place for him - cockerels can be hard to place sometimes.
