My self I would not intentionally buy feed that far in advance BUT since it happened and ya only 6 weeks I would store it in a dry location and not worry about it. Think about this the grains in that were harvested last summer and have been in the elevator/mill since. Is a few more weeks really gonna matter??

My hubby actually bought it. It was his first time buying feed and got the wrong stuff if it will hold I'm fine with it. Just thought I could save a neighbor 20 bucks since I can't use it for awhile

Hi. New member here in Damascus. I have 2New Hampshire hens and 1 barred rock hen, 1 barred rooster and 1 rouen duck hen. I also have a large vegetable garden and like to can, pickle, freeze and eat what I grow. I enjoy this site and visit often.

Did you happen to go to the show in Vancouver last month? We were there and then had dinner with your dad. I tried to convince him and Norma to go, but they both thought we were kinds nuts. Can you see her with chickens???? LoL You heard about her DD expecting, right? Maybe we should give her chicks as a shower gift!!!

Gotta tell you all that this group goes so far down the road of Enabling that CloverLeaf picked up a little girl for me in Woodburn... handed her off to Travis who drove her all the way up to Centralia. ChickenRustler picked her up there and kept her until I got there the next day. Noooo... this crew doesn't enable.... no way!
