So yesterday my daughter went to check for eggs, one almost shelless from the production red, and she thought that was all. Cane home from work, and saw the pekin drake rolling something around in the run, ran in there to see what the heck he had, and it was a small white egg! Looked around, and found another! I also have two anacona pullets, but am confused because the one anacona always checks out the nest box when the red lays her eggs. I have clay eggs in all the boxes, I think that when they laid their eggs it surprised them, and they didn't make it to the box! I also have oyster shell, so am hopeful that this will help to keep shells, they are 20 weeks, so their systems are just getting going ;)

I have some mixed bantams, roos and hens, that I need to get rid of. Crosses between Silver fawn Old English, D'Uccle, Lemon Spangled hamburg, and Silkie.

most of these birds are carrying the dun or lemon/cream gene.

Free pairs, one roo, one hen. Must take a roo with a hen.

Hello Lorilynn, I'll put the word out to my 4-Hers on Saturday. If you make it to the JO CO fair swing in and say Hi. Janet

This is Tux, my Blue Runner x KC/Rouen drake. He's about 5 lbs, 13 weeks old and available if anyone in the Portland/St. Helen's area wants a drake. Hate to give him up but I have too many drakes now. It looks like some more Blue Runners will turn out to be drakes within the next month if anyone is interested. PM me or go to www.lsshaftsfarm.com for contact information.
