Welcome!! Hope everyone had a happy new year!! This will be a stressful year, as i have to build a HUGE flock of birds, and almost all of them will have to start as chicks.. Why do these birds take so darn long to grow..

Why do you HAVE to build a HUGE flock??? Inquiring minds want to know... lol

Will someone talk some sense into me?! I want a turkey. And look at all of these....!

Thank goodness I can't take 15, the minimum order, unless...anyone want to split a turkey order?

Seriously? turkeys? Are you nuts?!!??? (How's that?) LOL

No really, I would love to do some turkeys for meat, BUT when I found out how easily the poults imprint on people, I said NO WAY! If they follow me around like a dog, I can't lop their little heads off and eat them, then I'm stuck with PET TURKEYS! NO THANKS!! Now if you WANT them for pets, go for it!

Oh yes, they would most certainly end up as pets. I don't have a ton of room so I'd probably only be able to have 2 and that means I'd get attached. I still haven't sent old Ginger and Dotty to the farm to retire like I planned. They started laying again (one egg every 3 days) so now I have to keep them. At least I know I'm a sucker.

Gotta say Tallyho... those turkeys are gorgeous. If I could process poultry I'd do it. But alas... I cant even cut up a cooked whole chicken. Grosses me out. Could you imagine having some of those birds roaming your yard? Beautiful. 15 of them though... yikes.
