Chickies should come to main post office tomorrow, here's hopin' I don't have to wait until Monday
Also, now almost done with my chicken tractor, yeah!!! Is building the coop before the chicks are even out of the brooder (or here yet) like counting chicks before eggs hatch??
Can't believe I needed all these banties so that I need another coop. I love being addicted to chickens.
Oooh, I love fuzzy chickies. 6 silkies and 6 Antwerp banties. The kids were so excited. My husband gave me the strangest look at bedtime when he came around the corner and I was snuggling a chickie. I explained I didn't get to hold one much so the kids could and not overstress - he thinks I'm nuts. Good thing he loves me.
Full little crops and they are glad I stopped waking them up to make sure they weren't weak and dying. Wish I was home today but hoping they do well. So far all seem to have food and water consumption down. Yippee!! I love chicks in the house.
I'm looking for a super nice female sebastopol goose (white)...does anyone have one for sale or know of anyone who's selling? My parents are in Oregon and could transport....Thanks!

Saturday these eggs went into lockdown, I'm at work and don't know what's going on at home! Yes, I realize that today is only day 20, but I wanna know what's happening and I don't want the wife going down there cuz she'll see that these eggs are in the hatcher and I still have eggs in the bator...

Heather have you talked to Jean? I talked to her today and she said her geese were laying like crazy, and everything in her bator is developing...

No because I REALLY want an older female, rather than a gosling...have you ever raised them? They are SOOO messy, stinky, and need LOTS of room! I'd MUCH rather get my hands on something fully feathered and ready to go than mess with goslings or I'd hatch my own eggs.
But I'll double check with her...last time I checked she didn't have any adult females for sale.
