When I got my chicks, I got a large bag of organic crumble and some chick grit. The larger pieces I crumble a bit smaller for them. I was told this has all the nutrients they need. Is there anything I need to supplement? I have tried some watermelon and some spinach as treats, but they are not having any of that. How about corn meal? Any other treats you have had success with? thanks!!

You can offer them cooked egg yolk or scrambled eggs. The last few hatches I've had weren't interested it, but it's good for them. I also put a little juice in their water (has to be 100% juice, I use either Tahitian Noni Juice or Ocean Spray Cran-Blueberry). I try to keep the ratio of water to juice at 2:1 or more. I don't want to deprive them of water while providing liquid fruit and all the antioxidants and other nutrients that go with it.
