Handsome birds. Wish I had room for more but I must have three dozen cockbirds in my flock as it is... although perhaps none so pretty as these. How tall are those first two? They must be massive.

Haven't measured them yet but I'm guessing 26-27 inches tall right now and maybe 28 inches when fully grown

someone should write a book about all of this stuff!! I like the scientific stuff,but I find the "beleifs" and traditions fascinating. I could read for hours. a stray comment here or there in articles leads me to new questions.

JR, I have several books on this but ... too bad, you can't read my language .....
