Like this, never heard it before.
I had a Blue Spoo...hadn't ever heard of the blue, was disappointed when his rich chocolate brown turned speckledy at about 2 years old.

I hadn't heard of "Spoo" either, at least before joining Poodle Forum.
Ooh! Any pictures of him?

He's gone now, died in 2019 at 13yo.

When I got him from SPCA at 6mo.

...and a few years later.
I kept him clipped short(did it myself) to avoid the matting.

What a handsome boy! He is so cute in the first picture, and very regal in the second. Beautiful coat color!

Well, it is a puppy, tell her(?) NO and give her something appropriate for chewing.
Good to get her desensitized to the gear tho.

Spoo weighs 14 pounds as of yesterday! She is 11 weeks old, and is going to go to the vet today for her second round of vaccines.

Tessa got her 2nd round of vaccines yesterday at Petco. A 5-in-1 (would have preferred a 4-in-1, because that is what she got last time), plus a dewormer. She had to step on a scale outside the store, so to be safe, we wiped her paws when we got home. She didn't like being in the car (pawed at the window and whined a bit), but she didn't throw up, which is always good.

Today we went for the second time to Jax's house. Again, she was uncomfortable in the car, but tolerated it well. Overall Tessa did okay there, but unlike last time, she barked and acted rather aggressive toward Jax at intervals. She wasn't this way all the time, but at random points when Jax was near her, something would just set her off. Maybe she just wanted to play, but she was lunging at the ex-pen and barking / growling repeatedly. We had her in an exercise pen most of the time, or else on leash, because we still aren't ready to have them play together off leash. There were portions of the day when she was quite good, however. At one point when we were indoors I gave each dog a piece of rawhide watched with amusement as Tessa chewed a bit on hers, then tried to steal Jax's piece, which resulted in him growling and moving to another room.

Tessa is now almost always on a leash when in the yard, and she doesn't bite and pull on it unless she is excited/overexcited (which is fairly often ), or when no one is holding the other end of the leash and she decides to take herself for a walk.

Now Tessa's new obsession is the rectangular piece of rawhide from Jax's house. She has been chewing on it for a while now!

poodles change colors so much, its crazy. No poodle will ever be the same color as it was when you bought it (unless its a black)

Spoo weighs 15.2 pounds today, and can now officially fetch a ball! I am delighted with this. When I am going to play ball with her (or a tug game), I first say "play..." and she sits, and then I say "ready?..." and then "go git it!" and she runs to get the toy. If it is her rubber ball, she now brings it back and even drops it near me about 80-90% of the time. If it's a tug toy, she usually just lies down and starts to chew on it, though sometimes she comes back.

Tessa is also getting good at "on your mat" and "in your crate," though she often gets them mixed up and just goes to whichever one is nearest at any given moment. Maybe I need to change the syllable number of one of the cues so they aren't so similar-sounding. She knows the "free" command, meaning "you can get up now." Sit, down, and stand are works in progress. With sit what keeps happening is she will get into the sit position but them her front paws will slide into a down.

She still hasn't gotten much socialization outside the house and yard. We haven't tried the stroller outside yet because she doesn't seem comfortable enough with it, and plus the cable that would attach to a harness to keep her in there is so long that she can still jump out and essentially hang herself. Oh well....we'll have to find a different one and keep working on going in the stroller. She is also still very bitey and jumpy and barky (of course -- she's a puppy). The barking aggressively and repeatedly when she sees certain family members is still happening. It isn't "I want to play" behavior, but I'm not exactly sure what it is.

Oh -- I should also mention she is completely switched over to her new diet, Open Farms Chicken & Ancient Grains. She likes it, but I think she preferred her old food (Purina Pro Plan Sport) a bit. The new food is healthier though.

I'll try to get some pictures of her in the new couple of days.
