So happy you're a member, and glad to have you posting with us. I saw mention of other suggesting Ameraucanas- I grew up with them and always had a blast collecting their colorful eggs and alot of them were really tolerable of us kids. In adult years, I have really been a fan of Plymouth Rocks and Dominiques (though my most sociable bird is a little mixed breed). (And with obvious bias, I do REALLY love our ducks though!)
