Orp chick

One week

I'm keeping my eye on that comb. I think I am in the clear based off of my other Orp's development , although wing feather growth seems a bit slow compared. My guess she is somewhere around 3 weeks. I've had her a week and a half. My CCO are very nice sized. I'm hoping that if she is an ICO she will be good sized with typical Orp temperament. ICO is not a normal hatchery offering.

What will ICO and CCO produce?

will do

I'll post weekly.

Why would the feather quality look "weathered"?

Below is my CCO ROO at about the same age. You can see a pronounced comb and wattles coming in. Also he has far less feathers. Eyes are still blue/ grey. I know each individual will mature at different rates but comparing I'm still optimistic that the chick is a pullet. I can't have anymore roosters.

This is week 4 for us which should put her around 7 weeks at the latest and 6 at the earliest.

No visible wattles and comb is relatively flat across (not raised or more pronounced middle back)

Barring is not well defined , not sure how defined it should be is she is an IC or a LC

Thank you
