Juanita just came to see her hen's baby,,, and the first thing she says is: "Oh no,, it's funny looking like my brother's ugly chicken!!"
Looks like a Turken,, I told her if she doesn't want it I'll keep it, she's thinking about it.
She's pretty excited though so we'll see. The other egg isn't moving as much as it was last night, I hope it makes it. It was moving first then this one did like my duck eggs and pipped and hatched and that was that!

This is oddest looking little bird I've ever seen. As it dries out it has fluffy pants and a weird top-knotch on it's head. Looks like Turken/who knows what? Her little hen had bushy pants and was really tiny but she has no idea what breed it was.

Thanks, I haven't seen any movement out of the other egg at all in hours. It was the one really rocking last night though. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I promise that all chicks that hatch from eggs I send you will come complete with neck fuzz/feathers, Kate. Jordan, NNs are cute then they grow up. Not so cute, IMO, but lovable, I'm sure, nonetheless.
