Orphaned Gosling

call vets tomorrow to see if they know of any.
Good place to start.
No National or Regional wild life services?

Might want to add your location to avoid confusion and a plethora of mis-guidance.
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!

Also, I thought I would include a picture of where I think he may have come from.

On either side of the road we took him from is this stuff called hraun. It’s the lava remains of a volcanic eruption several hundred years ago. It’s very sharp and dangerous to walk on.

Songbirds, terns, and gulls will sometimes nest there because it’s safe from humans and other animals. And it works for them because their young won’t leave the nest until they can fly themselves.

However, if a duck or goose were to nest here, her babies would almost certainly fall into the cracks and holes, since they are able to run around very soon.

This is what we think may have happened to our little guy’s family. That, or he may have been dropped by some other predator, which seems a bit more unlikely, since he has no injuries.
