Orpington breed thread

So we don't have any Orpingtonshere, but my son's school has 2 full grown hens that live there. They have a coop and one of the teachers tends to them. The chickens are allowed to wonder with the children and are often seen just waking down the hallways. They seem to be very sweet. :love

@Trimurtisan - I’m having trouble using the quote feature on my phone, but no not exactly. The parents of those chicks are all visually Silver-laced; however, it is obvious from the chicks that there are a lot of hidden genes coming into play. There are for sure two recessive white chicks, as well as what appears to be chocolate. There are two other chicks I haven’t identified yet. I have more hatching out this weekend.

This is one of my Buff Orpington's being bad. She's digging away the foundation of the coop! Her name is Marshmallow.
