cockarels and roos are just as lovable as hens, in my opinion roos are more affectionate then pullets at that age.

I agree the really chill ones are quite often roosters and pullets are flightier until their hormones kick in and then they trade.

cockerel - so sorry. They tend to start off more sociable than the pullets. Its all a trick, so that you will love them and not rehome them when you discover the truth.
