Orpington, RIR, or Easter Egger Hatching Eggs

Hi all! I'm located in Los Angeles, CA and am looking for some hatching eggs of easter eggers, rhode island (or hampshire, brown egg laying types), or orpingtons or other friendly breeds. I'm not looking for show bird quality eggs, just some friends of mine would like to keep a few backyard birds, so I'm hatching some hopefully friendly types out for them. I used to get eggs from the farmer market, but the most recent batch was not fresh at all ($7 a dozen for questionable genetics and unfresh eggs.. the guy must have totally forgotten that I asked him to bring fresh eggs ).. never again! Please let me know if you have 2 dozen hatching eggs to spare or so. Thanks so much.

I am out sort of near Lancaster (but I go into Lancaster 3 times a week). I have LF White Ameraucana eggs available. If you use Facebook join the California Poultry People there are a lot of people on there with chickens in your area. Yahoo also has 2 groups- CaliforniaChickens and SoCalPoultry that are good for networking in this area
