I just went and looked. Nope. All of them not on! I upload the photos and then post them. They show then I go to add another and they dissappear! Also...I can't see any of my previous uploads when I go to 'uploads". I click on "all uploads" and it brings up "list" so I click on list and I get nothing. I have no idea what I do wrong but it is frustrating since I can't get any input from others on BYC
Thought I would post what the APA Standards Committee chairman shared with the American Orpington Poultry Fanciers members:
The British "Orpington" is not an Orpington. The Orp was never meant to be a fluff ball. The APA has not received any inquiries about the British "Orp"
The APA will not change the Orpington Standard. The British "Orp" is a clean legged Cochin. They don't use our Standards and we don't use theirs.

I might point out, before someone accuses me of something. Walt Leonard is a respected APA/ABA Poultry Judge and cuurently serves as the Chairman of the Standards Committee. Essentially, Walt is the author of the American Standard of Perfection. Walt is simply calling it like it is. The Standards Committee is the ultimate authority on the Standard of Perfection. Have never known the APA Directors going against their recommendation.
Hope this helps. Seemed you used the url instead of the img button.
I'm not sure if these pictures will pop up or not...these are my part UK and part American Orpingtons. I have to choose between my roos. I'd love to have a splash roo but the black roo is larger. I believe you go by shape or form first....then color. Could I get some input on the looks of these roos...? They are 9 wks. now. The last picture is a group shot. I THINK I have the two roos and 3 pullets.
The camera date says 5/18 but I took these this morning. Also...the first two shots didn't post. How do you post multiple shots on one thread???
Thanks Jimsfarmstand. I didn't think I used the urhl but now I see like 5 pictures of the black roo. Sigh. Well....there he is. I'll try another with the splash...ANY comments good or bad (about the roos...not my lack of tech skills) will be appreciated.
My splash roo. I can only keep 1....you can't tell by the pictures but the black is MUCH bigger than the splash....same age...same breeder. So...I figured I'd have to keep the black but would like to hear from others. thanks for your patience with my lack of computer skills.

I don't remember anyone wanting to change the standard or gain acceptance into the APA who raises the UK Orpingtons...
I do not show, nor do I ever plan to, whether or not the APA accepts my Orpingtons for what they are is none of my concern. I know they are Orpingtons and that they are beautiful, majestic, stunning birds that represent the breed in every way... and that is all that matters to me.
