Orpingtons Only Club

I’m a newbie to all of this! Each of my family members purchased their own fav breed of chickens. I opted for the Orpington! Our local hatchery sold out of this breed super fast so I bought from a local breeder. My four are suppose to be all Orpington- Two buffs and two lavenders. They also sold a variety of other Orpingtons. They are still only 1 week but I’m unsure if two of them are fully Orpington. I guess time will tell. Here they are!

If I'm correct in thinking the last has some foot feathering, I'd be questioning the breeder.

Yes it does, good job noticing it.

It's possible it could be a Blue Marans, or a mix. But it could be residual from the Cochin that was used in the making of the Orpingtons.

I myself had leg feathers pop up in my F1 Wheaten Crele Orpington rooster.
They fell out once he reached 6 months old though.

It was Dino. The leg feathering is very light, & barely visible.
