ostrich egg lockdown??

i'm sure the infos out there but i'm having trouble finding it.... if my calculations are correct, if this egg makes it, it'll hatch on or about dec 26th ...some reading i've done says stop turning the last 4 days --- but i think i read somewhere else it was for the last week??

emu and rhea people --- how long before the end of incubation do you stop turning?

not at all...calla and i have been pm'ing a little, she's been giving me helpful info IF it does hatch ... the reply was what she does for her emu and rheas --- which is about 4 days prior to expected hatch date...so today'll be my last day of turning (although i'll still be opening the bator to talk with it

)
