How hard is it to raise a ostrich, and do they make good pets?

i don't think the actual raising them would be too different than emus, except they get a lot taller and weight 3 times more...... I have head from others that have had them they don't make good pets. Males especially during breeding season can get very aggressive, more even with tame males. One person i know had to put down their tame male because he became very aggressive. This is all heresay however as I've never raised one.
