OT Egg storage

Curiosity question. This is probably the wrong place but seems the closest. When storing eggs, fertile or not (I'm the only roo allowed by law ) in an egg carton is it best pointed side down or up??

Eggs should be stored point end down.

The only time it is important is if the eggs are fertile and you intend to hatch them. If you are storing for eating, it doesn't matter.
