OT...What should I do with a bunch of cream cheese?

Haha no worries. Now them taters sound like that would work. I actually have a load of them to get rid of too. Taters just save so well so I haven't been attacking them yet. Hey thanks for the great idea!

Marbled cream cheese bownies are to die for, or make Hostess style cupcakes with the sweetened cream cheese in the center. You can use the cream cheese filling in muffins too.

Check this out, all these leftovers are stuff people WON'T take. I have to turn off walk-ins and freezers in a very short time. Do you believe I have no more takers? I've already stocked up my whole island, as have others in my biz. And my freezers are just packed up. Childrens shelter here will only take canned goods, books, paper, pencils, etc., money, and toys still in their original package. I'm like, HELLO, I swear I'm not a psycho nut wanting to poison children. pfft.

I think I got this solved. That peanut butter pie recipe is a definite. I have all those ingredients in mass quantities. And I'm doing those twice bakes. I know people will take prepared foods like that. I just know it. Thanks for the great suggestions you all. I now know what I'm doing with a few of my perishables. All them taters married some cream cheese. And peanut butter pies are at the reception. Thanks again all

I put cream cheese into mashed taters and twice baked as well. You could portion it out into 1/4 cup bits and freeze it, that way it would be really easy to use. I also make salami bites with cream cheese. Take one slice of salami, put a dollop of cc in the center and a little chunk of pickle if you like pickles, fold it up and chow down!!! YUMMY!!! Cream cheese is also great on sandwiches and in wraps.

I have this recipe for a party cheese ball. I plan to try it for the holidays.

2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon finely chopped onions
1 tablespoon chopped red bell peppers
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Dash ground red pepper (cayenne)
Dash salt
1 cup chopped pecans

Beat cream cheese and cheddar cheese in small bowl on medium speed until well blended.

Mix in all remaining ingredients except pecans, cover. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Shape into ball, roll in pecans. Serve with crackers.

well you have dinner and dessert covered, how about an appetizer?

I take 2 packages of cream cheese and soften it in the micorwave a little.
Put them in a shallow(usually glass) baking pan and mix with a can of chili.
If you like onions add chopped onions.
If you like it a little spicy add a half to a whole pkg of taco seasoning mix.
Stir it all up(I do it right in the pan), spread it in the pan and top with grated cheddar cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for just a few minutes til it bubbles and the cheese melts.
Serve with nacho chips and enjoy!
People literally go crazy for this when I make it.
