Watch that wound very carefully! Rooster spurs aren't exactly clean and they drive the bacteria into the wound. When my husband got spurred it showed signs of infection within hours. The rooster became burrito filling the next day.

Ok, Ok, before everyone gets too hungry, you should try a few old techniques. Chase him around a bit. Make sure his girls are watching. Corner him and pick him up. Carry him around, sit down and hold him in your lap. You could flip him gently over on his back and pet him. Rub his comb, maybe he will like that. Give him treats, too. And if he chases you DO NOT RUN AWAY. If you do, he will do it again and again. Good luck!
