Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
I have several coops and was just out shutting everyone in for the evening. I was about 1/2 way through when I felt a sharp pain in my ankle
. And then another and another OUCH, OUCH, OUCH! F#$%#$#$ bees had flown down my old Ugg boots!! I ripped it off and smacked the heck outta them but too late. 5 stings on the top of my foot and ankle. I'm now laying down with it up and its swelling nicely. Good thing I'm not allergic!
