awwww such a cute mama! She looks suprised, Like "look what I did"!!!
Cute babys too how many are there?
If mama rabbits are stressed they will eat their young if they feel they are in danger. I think that is only up until they get their fur. Keep her in a quite place and they should be fine.

Hmmm. I knew the father would kill them and was told the Mom may kill the first
batch. The bigger cage is in the barn and it's cold out there. I watch them close.
Thanks

We have a boy bun...he wants a wild rabbit that sleeps next to his run outside. I will have to take pictures...congrates on the cute little buns

There is enough room in that cage for her for now, but as the babies grow you may want to give them more space to make them more comfortable. 2' x 30" x 18" is a good size for a rabbit that size, bigger is always better of course but not always afforable. LOL
I have the standard sized rabbits, Californians and standard Rex. The does have 30" x 3' x 18" cages, but your doe looks like a smaller breed.
I have never heard of a rabbit eating babies because they think they need more space? Generally, when a mama eats her kits, she is lacking something in her diet. Or sometimes they feel threatened by something outside their cage (something that is a predator or something that they view as a predator, so they kill the kits to hide the nest. Doesn't make much sense to me! Good luck, they sure are cute! I love watching them grow.

Guarantee me they will get a good home and I they are free.

My wife loves rabbits. We saw one at the Durham fair and almost bought
it. Instead I contacted a breeder and bought a pair. We can get papers
but never cared. They are brother and sister so I don't think they can
be considered pedigree anymore.

The excitement my son experienced tonight was wonderful. Me and Mom
were pretty happy too.

One thing we won't do is sell them as Easter pets. We may rent them though.
