Our Bunny was Broody & Laid & Hatched Eggs & We Didn't Even Know It

You can put the name Katy on one of them, but she's gonna have to stay living at your house!! I had lops years ago until they died of old age. Then when my daughter was still at home she brought one home.....of course when she left for college a few years later the rabbit stayed home with me! She passed away a couple of years ago. They are sweet little critters, but I don't think I'll be bringing anymore to my house.

There is enough room in that cage for her for now, but as the babies grow you may want to give them more space to make them more comfortable. 2' x 30" x 18" is a good size for a rabbit that size, bigger is always better of course but not always afforable. LOL
I have the standard sized rabbits, Californians and standard Rex. The does have 30" x 3' x 18" cages, but your doe looks like a smaller breed.
I have never heard of a rabbit eating babies because they think they need more space? Generally, when a mama eats her kits, she is lacking something in her diet. Or sometimes they feel threatened by something outside their cage (something that is a predator or something that they view as a predator, so they kill the kits to hide the nest. Doesn't make much sense to me! Good luck, they sure are cute! I love watching them grow.

Thanks so much for that info. Her cage, located in the barn is 36x36". 12x36 is enclosed
and the remaining 24 x 36 is cage area. See pic below. I built a two floored bunny
cage and it's in the barn which never drops below 30. Looks like I've go another
one to build.

How long do the babies need to stay with Mom and when can they be in colder weather?

You might want to move her to a quiet room and try not to disturb her. I she is bothered too much she may cannibalize from stress. After a week or so you're in the safe zone, but until then I wouldn't change cages or do anything drastically different. Adding some alfalfa hay to her diet is good, along with a higher protein pellet if available.

Don't even tempt me, I need another pet like I need a hole in the head

It's hard enough to go on vacation now! We've got to find someone to watch our chickens during spring break  I'm sure you'll have no problem though.

congratulations, the babys should be in a nest box, so they dont get lost, or squished on accident, they cant see or hear for 10 days, If you want to move them in to a box with out the mom worrying about the smell of humans on her babies put vannilla extract on her nose, she wont be able to tell.

Thanks for that info.

She is an extremely friendly and hand tame rabbit. I'm hoping that helps this process.
Chickens are so much easier.

Congratulations poppy!!!
I used to let mine go to new homes after 8 weeks.
Some breeders sell them to pet shops earlier which I think is horrible.
I see that they will have pretty markings.
My "Maggie" looks just like that too.
I have 2 running around out the back together, the boy is desexed so no more Bunbuns for me.'
I dont think you will enjoy finding "nice" homes for the littlies, thats the hardest part when you arent used to selling them.
Anyhow, dont worry about that yet, just enjoy watching them grow.
Mumma should be fine letting you touch them if she is that tame, My male bunny was the one who tried to kill the boy Kits so keep him away!!!
Any questions just pm me!!! Ive been through this a few times!
Enjoy the little cuties!

Ya'll have got to quit posting all these pics of babies, fuzzy butts, ducklings, kids, and now rabbits. Whats a girl to do but go out and get it all?
Somebody better hold an intervention for me somewhere along the line.
Those little bunnies are so cute.
