We've only lived at our place two years. When DH and I moved in we had 4 cats and 4 dogs. One by one the house cats, who somtimes go out, started disappearing and we were convinced it was the coyotes, I've heard them kill a wild turkey and a rabbit very close to our property. I even found the remains of one of our cats this summer when we were clearing our pasture land. All four cats and one little Shih Tzu disapeared forever within 4 months.....then my daughter brought home and abandoned kitten, we thought it was a girl.. Then he got his manlihood and DH named him Mr. Balls. He has been the best cat, we've had him over a year he sleeps with us and meows to go out to go potty.

We let him out three mornings ago and haven't seen him since. Maybe he's prowling around I hope so. We've fenced in our back yard, have two mini donkeys to take care of coyotes, and he's never been gone more than a day, we've looked in closets, in the camper, shop etc. nowhere to be found.

I just want him to come home! I'm starting to think he's joined the others. We're surrounded by 20,000 acres of state park, no need putting pics up, the few neighbors we have know us and our cat, so we'll ask around.

vent over...

This is why I will NEVER have outdoor cats again. It's not fair to the cat or the human sometimes. I had barn cats at my mother's property and one by one they stopped coming home. Terrible. Never again. My cats just daydream out the window.

I do hope he comes back soon and didn't fall victim to nature.

My cat has been gone for 2 days. We finally brought her from my parents house and she had bolted into the woods, then came back that night... the next morning she bolted out the door and we haven't seen her since.

She's in a totally new area, so she won't know how to get back! Dumb me.

I hope yours comes back. Keep us updated!

Oh I feel for you, i know what its like waiting!
I pray to St Anthony and it has never failed yet!
Is he spayed? Just go for a long walk, take your gun too, and just use your ESP to call him to you!
I hope you find him.
Hugs

Our cat once was gone for over a week. He returned very skinny but healthy otherwise. We think he was locked up in someones garage while they were away....not sure. We gave him to our oldest son and now he's an indoor cat but not very happy about it.

I sure hope your kitty comes home.

Mr. Balls is so laid back we thougth the same thing, that he may be laidi up somewehre. Hes still not home tomorrow will be day 4.

Thanks for the replies! Come home Mr. Ball!

We're gonna set out some milk for hi and see if that helps!!

male cats will travel quite a distant I can only have barn cats due to allergies well the males always seem to disappear then a week later poof there they are looking all satisfied. Give it time he may be on the prowl. I also have had a female who disapeared for a month then returned.
I hope your lil one makes it back safe and sound.

I must have overlooked this....I hope your cat comes home too......

No DH wouldn't neauter him because he thought that the reason the other cats died so easy is that they were house cats and fixed and had no fear or will to fight to survive. He thought Mr. Balls would live longer than the others if he had more natural instinct....and so far he has.... I hope he's at his girlfriends house.................

Oh Jenniferjoin, I do hope your little cat comes back safe and sound, I would also go for a walk and get some old clothing like a t -shirt, rub it all over you and under your arms so it has your smell on it, then cut it up into little pieces then make a little track dropping bits of t-shirt so they can follow your scent home quickly.
This will help both you poor ladies.
At least you will feel like you are doing something and not waiting around.
Please come home puddy tats!
Hugs
