Hi everyone! I wanted to share pictures of our coop and run that my husband built. I just finished putting the last of the chicken wire around the run and now our babies are safe and sound!
This is the front of the coop before the run was put on.
On the right is the door to get the eggs from the nesting boxes - we have 3!
Under the coop is a nice shady place to hang out!
Side of run...I need to get the slats on the boardwalk, but so far they seem to get up and down it fine! It's also going to be a bit steeper so it doesn't run into the side of the run like it is now.
The whole shebang!
Our coop is roughly 8x4x4ish and the run nearly matches it. We have some roosts to put in the run still. We have another ventilation window I want my husband to put in the side of the coop where there is only a clean-out door. I think we need more air movement.
I am really proud of this coop! It's our first and my husband, being the construction man, agonized over every single detail!
