Our cute pekin's? Lucky and Rocky!

Quite new here and wanted to introduce the cute 2-3 week old ducklings

One have an orange bill and is called Lucky...the other is a bit smaller with a pink bill and that one is called Rocky.

We assume they are Pekins?

They get whiter every day! We got three but the little one didn't grow and died 3 days after we got them :-(

We have started to bring them outside every nice day we have

They are VERY social birds...we tried to put them in a separate brooder from the chicken babies to give them more room...but they needed more friends...unless we put at least 2-3 other chicks in there they...mostly Rocky will just stand there squeeking.. outside they need friends too... I carried one outdide and before I got back with the other the first had managed to climb up one step...and into the house meeting us there...

Very cute duckies. I love to see kids with ducks. They are very flock oriented. If they consider the chicks their flock their not happy if one is missing. Enjoy your babies and keep us updated on how they are doing.
