Aww! Scoobie is a cutie!!!

Our dog loves to look at the chicks too, and he whines and pouts. But it's because he wants to eat them

Same with us too. We have a Boston Terrier named Rosie that just wants to eat them too. We call her the "Boston Terror"!

Don't let her cuteness fool ya though! If she accidently gets out of the house then we have to put her shock collar to use unfortunately.

My female, weighs in at a good 70 lbs, is scared of my week old chicks. If you call her over to the brooder she'll whine and run away. But if you take a chick out and show it to her, she'll whine and back away reeaally slow, like she's afraid to turn her back on them. Which is really odd because she likes to mother everything that's a baby. My grumpy old male, who only tolerates the other animals, will stand in front of the brooder, watching the chicks and wagging his tail. Go figure.

Not necessairily. We have a heeler dog that LOVES to herd the free range chickens and guineas around. She's never hurt or attempted to hurt any of them (we've had them for over a year), she just gets all wound up if they're not all in a tight little bunch, staying together. She doesn't do this all day, just when she's bored LOL
