They sure are funny little birds

This little guy started doing this a couple of days before he turned 4 weeks old (that's in the backbround my wife egging him on)

They are so funny when they start to crow.

I had to take a second look at your avatar to figure out it was a flying cat. It is cool - it reminds me of a dream I had when I was a kid about my tabby cat flying around.

Could you tell me how old your cockerel is? Also, do you know of any other distinguishing signs of a cockerel besides the crowing? I have a 7 week old Fayoumi that we are still unsure of.

Other than crowing, the only difference that we see is the larger comb.
I;m guessing that once they molt we'll start to see some difference in the feathering.
