Our first 100% day

Just had to post a happy message that yesterday was the first day when every hen laid an egg--a total of 7 beautiful, orange-yolked eggs. The hens are 28 weeks old, and may have all been laying for a week or so, but yesterday was the first day I could be 100% sure of that.

Even on their non-laying days, these 7 birds entertain me more than I could ever have imagined! The eggs are just a bonus

You should be proud. 100% days let you know you've taken care of them properly. Good nutrition, endless clean water, etc..

I have flocks of 10, 11 and 9 and have had 100% days from each and once from 2 flocks but never all 3 on the same day. Fingers crossed.
