Our first call duck incubation adventure (hatch-a-long)

Thanks everyone!! I really am looking forward to seeing how they do…it is very exciting!!
I will post when I weight and see if I can get more photos…
Do you want us to name your ducky eggs? We are very happy to cheer them along named, or unnamed 😁 some hatch-a-longs have name themes and you can number the eggs and we'll name them for you. Or you can name them and we claim an egg to specifically cheer. Or like I said, we will happily cheer the whole brood!

We are just excited to have a Call duck hatch-a-long!

Day 14
I am still tweaking the humidity rates as today was weighing day (I am doing it about once a week). The loss this week most hit 1 grams of weight loss while a few did hit that 2-3 grams. I was hoping for closer to the 2-3 grams for all of them but not quite there.
I just nudged it down slightly so it would sit between 45-48%.

Movement is seen in all 12 eggs, some are a little more active than others so not sure if that is a sign that there is issues with some eggs or not. But keeping our fingers crossed! I am just super impressed that all 12 eggs were fertilized and made it unscrambled almost clear across the country (Nova Scotia to Saskatchewan).
