Our Flock Photos

That's good! Oh too bad.. Do they ever try to attack?
I've lost 3 chickens to hawks. That I know of some have gone over the fence and didn't come home so not sure what got them. They are bold things Hawks are not the chickens well I guess you could say they are bold to leaving the fenced in property for the woods.

Thankfully no water fowl.

You are just full of nice things to say!

And getting angrier
I love and just love these little burds. Their colors are exquisite as are their acrobatics in the air. Can you hold them?

Bottom pic - the guy on the left looks P. O'd. Look at that frown on his face. They are so gorgeous. Love their names too.

Yep, Isabelle lets me hold her quite a bit and also wants me to be her mate!

Do pigeons actually fight because that last pic looks like it could happen.
Yeah, a ton!

Two of the males fought steady for 7-8 minutes the other day just for a nest box, even the hen joined in after about five minutes!

Do you break it up or do they finally settle it on their own? i know when i had more than 2 Muscovy drakes the fighting could get brutal at times and I'd have to break them up.

Yes, I love how they fly! A lot of them are very tame!

Males fight a LOT, and females do very often too.

We usually let them settle it, otherwise as soon as we leave they will go right back at it!

Drakes are definitely more vicious, I've had to separate ours a few times.
