Shad always recommends worming if someone's a little off. I'm a little leery of the ET because it's always the worst possible scenario & simpler explanations get overlooked. Observing first is such a sensible way to go. All the best with her.

Is ET - antibiotic! I definitely don't want to use it if I don't have to! I would like to know how Shad worms his flock...I was thinking about doing this before she became ill! Parasites can cause so many problems! Thanks again Jehane!

Yeah, it's much better than the other one that I used for my chicken jail to contain my little escape artist...lol!

Sorry, meant the emergency thread. As NFC says, there are some very knowledgeable people on there. And some not so very... @BY Bob is my go to for things like antibiotics. That's his field of expertise & he's a scientist while I'm part of the arty~farty crowd & pretty useless in a practical sense. You could tag Shad ~ though he seems to be MIA again. He may still have computer issues.

So long as they stay well & healthy! I do my best to keep them that way. Saves on the panic stations when things go catawampus.

I've been through quite a few things with my flock this year and so far everything has turned out good! I wasn't panicked today, which is amazing lol, but I do feel a little sick to my stomach when any of them get sick!!!

Good news, she has drank quite a bit of the Corid water and she has eaten some more! I scrambled and egg and after it cools, I'm going to offer it to her! She still doesn't look very perky though!

She & Medh have gone into cahoots together & separated from the main flock. I've posted. I'm ok with this short term as they both have some issues but it is not a long term solution for any of us. The issue that got Suyin separated in the first place has disappeared. No idea what happened there. I suspect she found & ate something she shouldn't have.

I'm glad she's doing better! I just haven't had a chance to catch up on your thread, can't wait to see what those two are up to! I will get there as soon as I catch my breath...lol

I think Pearl is showing some improvement! I was moving her back and forth from the little roost to make sure she would drink some water, which she did, then she would just stand there and after a bit I would place her back on the roost so she could rest! She now seems to be moving back and forth by herself and I saw her preening her feathers. I know it's to early to tell, but I'm hopeful!

Preening is a really good sign she is feeling better.
