Our Mixed Flock Journey!

Back up to 8 eggs today!

So if I ever do get a rooster it would be good to wait until my girls are at least a year old, maybe.
I had a 4+ year old alpha hen when Jabberwocky came along. The two of them fought frequently. Having a rooster completely changed my relationship with the flock and Patsy and Lilly were very confused by that. I will not do it again. I prefer the relationship we have without the rooster.

The babies are 8 weeks old today! We finally moved them over into the grow out hutch! Daphne's cage is pretty good sized, but it was getting crowded as the babies are growing so fast! This was our rabbit tractor...it's a great size and gives them a lot of room!

They are so adorable! And so big!
Are you looking for homes for them?

They're so big! Have you separated the boys from the girls yet?

I know, they have really grown! They are only 2 months old, so I'm not worried about that yet! I don't think they are going to sell, so we will probably be processing them! :( Hopefully they will grow quickly and I won't have to worry about separating them, their cage is large enough that I can do something if the need arises!

They look so much bigger to me.
