When my oldest son was little, he had a parakeet that color...such a pretty bird!

We decided to get 2 purebred New Zealand rabbits and keep the gray rabbit that we got originally! The NZ are from 2 different litters! Since the first 3 that we got came from a colony setting, I had no idea of their relationship to each other! Here's a video of the trio!

Oh, the gray bunny ... I could never eat my bunnies... I don’t care for rabbit meat either.. but I do love duck!! Hubby and boys are hunters.. mainly duck.. sometimes geese and deer... so I respect that you do...

Oh, the gray bunny ... I could never eat my bunnies...

That's why my husband is in charge of that portion of this endeavor...he tells me that I would say, we can't eat this one, it's so sweet and that one is so beautiful...before you know it he'd have to build more hutches...lol!

We also hunt and when I told my youngest son who is the biggest hunter of us all, that we're going to raise meat rabbits, says, "poor bunnies"...big softy, mighty hunter!
