That's why my husband is in charge of that portion of this endeavor...he tells me that I would say, we can't eat this one, it's so sweet and that one is so beautiful...before you know it he'd have to build more hutches...lol!

We also hunt and when I told my youngest son who is the biggest hunter of us all, that we're going to raise meat rabbits, says, "poor bunnies"...big softy, mighty hunter! 💞


I know, you can tell they haven't grown at all because I don't feed them enough...

Children are such a blessing and so much fun! I should add he's 29 and a former State Trooper...his career is over due to health issues! He, his older brother and sister bring me so much joy!

Oh, I have names -Our Buck is Buck 😂, our broken doe is Sweet Cheeks & Chloe is our gray doe!

We decided to get 2 purebred New Zealand rabbits and keep the gray rabbit that we got originally! The NZ are from 2 different litters! Since the first 3 that we got came from a colony setting, I had no idea of their relationship to each other! Here's a video of the trio!
