Our Mixed Flock Journey!

We had such a lovely time with our new grandson, I can't wait to see him again! 💞 💞 💞

On another note...our well pump quit on us after 29 years of faithfully watering everything! We've known that it was going to happen, just not when! I'm so glad that the weather is not to hot nor to cold right now! My husband is working to get everything pulled together so that we will hopefully have a new pump in service sometime this week! I can only hope this one will last 29 years!

Morning Rene, that was so nice you got to spend time with your new grand baby!

Sorry about the well pump, hope it's up and working soon.
Good morning! It was so nice. 💞

Thank you...I hope it's up and running soon also! I was supposed to go pick up our piglets today, but that is going to have to wait until we have water going! At least I can flush the toilet...I am getting water out of our above ground pool to use for that. My son filled our 5g Igloo over at the orchard and I took a shower before we left our other son's house! So, we should be good for a few days!

Shows us the importance of being prepared. My husband has been planning on putting in a 2nd pump that we can use with solar or a generator, we've just been waiting for this one to give up!

My husband has been trying to find someone who is willing to place two pumps into our well, but isn't having much luck! We might just have to go with one!

On a happier note, I've finally decided on a name for my broken doe!
