Thank you Debby, I knew it would be! Right at the moment...I'm blatantly reading and typing at my computer...he's not complaining, but my time is almost up...

We unboxed our new sink, which was delivered yesterday, to make sure that it arrived with no cracks or chips...it's super heavy! I can't wait until I'm using it and not just looking at it!

We are staining the backs of the lower cabinet doors today! This is the first coat. They will get two coats of stain and then we will seal them with two coats of spray on finish and I'm not sure how many of the final brush on finish we will use!

The drawer fronts are completely stained and have the two coats of spray on finish on the fronts! The lighting wasn't the greatest for this picture!

That sink is awesome! Love the color of the drawer fronts too...everything is going to be beautiful when it's done!

Thank you Debby...I agree...the old finish is kind of orange colored now...I will not miss it!
I'm going to miss some of the uses of my double sink...but this will make washing up large items so much easier.

Good morning IM! Thank you...it will be nice to have it finished! I think the backsplash is so fun! I love the idea of being able to change what I have behind the stove!

Good morning everyone! Today is the day we head to our sons and tomorrow is the day we head to Oklahoma...I do not want to make this trip, but at least we will get some extra time with them! I just hope they are happy once they get there! They are planning on coming home in March for the baby's first birthday and for Christmas...if they can't we will be heading their direction! I will try and check in when we make stops on the road!

I hope my oldest son doesn't get eaten by the roosters while I'm gone...! We are starting to get more eggs, we brought in 7 the day before yesterday...I will have an overload of them by the time I get back...good thing I have friends that love fresh eggs!

We were able to get the first coat of stain on all of the lower cabinet doors yesterday and here is where they will sit until we get back! It's amazing how much better they will look when we get the second coat on...as the drawer fronts look so much prettier than the doors do right now!
