Our Mixed Flock Journey!

I always kind of liked the name “Roo 2”.
I have my Buff Orpington and she is a huge chicken!
Yeah, like I said, I'm going to mull it over for a bit...I tried the name out on him tonight, and while it kind of fits, it just didn't seem quite right...lol...he will probably remain my very creative...not really...Roo 2!

My Ophelia is a big girl too, my other 2 aren't quite as big!

Thank you Debby, it was good! About 15 miles from my house the roads were bare and wet. I got back home around 12:30, so just a quick trip. Worked my tail off, when I got home last night and still hitting it hard today. We finished moving the bedroom furniture around and I set up my desk and computer in it's new space, I wasn't too sure, but I think I'm going to like it. Then I worked on organizing and putting away a bunch of my craft stuff, my yarn stash is too big...lol! We will be using the office space as a catch all for kitchen items until the remodel is done! One good thing about this remodel is it's making me get things back into a state of organization and I'm purging along the way! It will be a bit like a fresh start!
We are purging too. Working on the garage right now, but I’ll be going through the kitchen in a couple of weeks. Feels good to get the junk out!
My husband's aunt woke up...they were pretty amazed that she did. Sadly & not surprisingly she can't speak, but she seems to be understanding what is being said to her. She will be moved into a rehab facility, so there won't be any visitation right now. We will take dad up to visit whenever visitors are allowed. Thank you all for the support & concern shared! :hugs 💞
I hope that she gets her speech back! I know this is very frustrating for stroke patients. Everything can be a bit tough to take, but not being able to express yourself is one of the hardest to deal with. It’s sad that she can’t have visitors in rehab though. Hoping for the best possible outcome!

I’ve been in a slow purge for a while now. Hubs finally had to clean the garage out because I bought a golf cart and needed a place to park it overnight. There’s still plenty more to get rid of though.

Good morning & thank you! I hope so too. Rehab is difficult enough in itself, but not being able to have the daily support from your family, would make it that much harder.

Purging does feel good! It's funny how it's filtered from the kitchen to the hallway closet & 2 bedrooms. I have all of my son's stuff out of the room that is now my new craft/office room, but it's only been shuffled to the room where we moved the bed & dresser. I need to pick up a tote to put the things in that I'm setting aside for his little guy to enjoy when he's a little older. I still have a bunch of stuff to sort through, some of it's mine, but the majority is someone else's! It will be nice to have it all done!

There's always more we can get rid of...it's amazing how much stuff we can collect...too much stuff! Good luck with your purge!
